Darts Fundraiser
At university, I organised a pub quiz fundraiser for our darts team, covering costs for games, tournaments, and activities throughout the year. I managed planning, promotion, and operations—using posters with QR codes, social media, and word of mouth to boost awareness and ticket sales. I negotiated a free venue and arranged drinks tokens for ticket holders, reducing costs and adding value for attendees. The event sold out, raising funds and providing a memorable social experience for students. This gave me hands-on experience in event planning, promotion, negotiation, and management—showcasing my ability to coordinate, meet financial targets, and use creative marketing to drive attendance.
